One of my most rewarding certifications came back in 1995 when I went for training to help Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment to apply make-up. I did numerous workshops at Bridgeport Hospital with hands on make up applications for the Look Good Feel Better program. To this day I continue to work with these very special people. There are many factors to take into consideration when applying make up and skincare to delicate skin that is undergoing chemo treatment or radiation. Being affected by family members that have battled cancer this is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. It is my sincere pleasure to assist patients with these specific needs during a difficult time and aid in the recovery process.
